Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Manager to join our client's team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Dairy Processing or Similar Food Manufacturing and Food Safety, with a deep understanding of the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) chilled food sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all technical aspects of dairy production from raw materials to finished goods.
- Lead a team including a Quality Assurance Advisor, onsite laboratory team, and sanitation team.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards such as HACCP, BRC, and local regulations.
- Develop and implement quality control protocols and food safety measures.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize production processes and food safety.
- Stay updated with trends and advancements in food science and FMCG operations.
- Train staff on new technology and protocols related to food science and safety.
- Handle technical issues swiftly and professionally.
- Ensure quality processes comply with internal and international standards.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Dairy Science, Food Science, or related field.
- Proven experience in a technical management role within the dairy or chilled food sector.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, BRC, and food safety regulations.
- Experience in FMCG sector.
- Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
