Summary
KPI Recruiting Ltd are currently recruiting for our client who is a leading manufacturer within the timber, joinery and building industry within Stoke-on-Trent
Due to continued growth within this business, KPI are working on behalf of our client to recruit a hands-on, energetic and motivated Stores Person who has a determination for progression.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Adhering to all health and safety standards and implementations
• Having a key eye on the activities within the warehouse environment and highlight issues or concerns.
• Planning and organising the daily activities within the warehouse ready for despatch.
• Keeping standards high within the stores of the warehouse ensuring stock it correctly stored and damage / waste monitored.
• Effective planning of maintenance for vehicles and equipment
• Willing to carry out the day-to-day warehouse duties which will include picking ready for despatch.
• Conducting regular stock-check days to report to senior management
Candidate Expectations
• ‘Can do’ attitude and remaining positive. Multitasking is essential within this role
• Record keeping to be of an exceptional standard. Proficiency it vital within this role.
• Able to plan your own day to be as productive as possible with clear goals
• Ability to cope and deliver under pressure.
Experience / Qualifications required:
• FLT license (reach & counter balance)
• Experience of managing a team
• Computer literate
• Able to carry out physically demanding duties
• Previous ‘stores’ experience
Working week:
Monday to Friday 8am to 16.45pm
Rate of pay:
£14 p/h
