Summary

Maintenance Engineer


A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer to work for a market leading Manufacturing business in Driffield. The business has been investing heavily into the factory and are in the process of installing new machinery. The Maintenance Engineer will be required to cover reactive maintenance and planned maintenance. If successful, you will receive internal and external training, progression and a competitive salary.

Responsibilities
* Working across the factory attending machinery breakdowns and diagnosing faults as well as ensuring all planned and routine maintenance activities are carried out and documented on the CMMS.
* Working with production responding to machinery breakdowns ensuring production downtime is kept to a minimum.
* Carrying out CI initiatives ensuring you are always looking for and recommending additional continuous improvements that could be made.
* You will also be responsible for machinery installations/ moves and modifications.

Maintenance Engineer required experience:
* Experience in an FMCG/Manufacturing/Production environment.
* Minimum of a level 3 qualification in an engineering field and electrical certification.
* Experience with industrial maintenance -
* Plant machinery installation
* Electrical experience & mechanical qualifications
* Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
* Experience with both electrical and mechanical maintenance on large scale industrial equipment and machinery.

The successful Maintenance Engineer will be electrically biased and will be working on a days and nights, fortnightly rotating shift pattern.
£38,000 k+ basic, working 42 hours a week, plus any potential additional paid overtime.
