“I thoroughly enjoy working with this young lady, it's rewarding seeing her enjoy activities and time with staff” - Amy (Current Support Worker)

-----------------------------

About the Person be support:

We have a cheeky young lady in her 30s who loves to joke around, have a laugh, and especially loves Bollywood music and films.

She also loves swimming, her mum's spicy home-made cooking and even has her own sensory room in her back garden.

She has a learning disability, autism, diabetes and epilepsy and we're looking a support worker to assist her to live independently in her own home.

You will also need to provide emotional reassurance when experiencing behaviours of distress - full positive behaviour support training is provided but previous experience is essential.

What will I be doing?

This young lady would like support to live her life how she chooses and to achieve her goals.
She would like support with her personal care, medication, occasional wheelchair assistance, meal preparation, food shopping and domestic tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
This young lady has access to her own car to make trips out of the house more enjoyable for her, so a full UK driving licence is essential to be a part of her team.

Shifts Patterns:

This includes a combination of weekdays and weekends.
