We are seeking Community Support Workers to join one of our community-based services in Stockport, which aims to provide extensive care, specialist positive behaviour support and promote independence and inclusion within the local community, in order to empower the individuals to take control of their own lives. The main focus is to provide the highest level of support in order to enable greater independence, choice and fulfilment for the individuals.

Salary – £20,296.90 (£12.01ph) for a 32.5 hour week, plus enhanced pay for weekend hours of +25% hourly rate. (Full time equivalent salary of £23,412 for 37.5hrs)

Working Pattern – 32.5 hours (full time) with part time hours also available. Hours range from - 9.00am through to 5.00pm Monday to Friday. Some evening and weekend work is also required which is on a rota. An enhanced payment is paid for weekend hours of +25% hourly rate.

Location – Specialist Day Service Provision, Kershaw’s Tanner, Water Street, Stockport, a Together Trust Service.

We are looking to recruit more than one individual and part time working could be considered.

We are looking for Community Support Workers who have the ability and resilience to work with behaviour, which may challenge, in a caring and consistent manner, including the maintenance of appropriate boundaries for behaviour.
