This is an exciting opportunity to join Exemplar Health Care as a Project Implementation Manager tasked with helping implement the “Exemplar Way” across our network of homes.

In this role, you’ll take responsibility for creating and implementing best practice initiatives in line with standard ways of working, endorsing a continuous improvement culture and be committed to improving safety and empower others to see the benefits of working in this way.

About the role

As a Project implementation Manager with Exemplar Health Care, you’ll be responsible for the implementation of the products and initiatives created through the Exemplar Way programme, working in partnership with the Virginia Mason Institute.

No two days will ever be the same, but your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Establishing a network of Stakeholders within the central functions and maintaining the RACI to ensure everyone with a stake is identified and engaged to the right level in the right way
Obtain feedback to support in the creating of the solution and understand the impact on homes and central services. Consider potential cross over and/or implications with other change initiatives ongoing in the home and the business by liaising with the Transformation Team and operational colleagues.
Utilise, teach, and endorse the approved tools and methodologies for change management as suggested by Virginia Mason Institute and the Exemplar Way collateral such as PDSA and Rapid Improvement Workshops to map the change journey and implementation plan.
Establishing training requirements for new change implementation including documented training materials, videos and ensure relevant key documents are regularly re-ratified for example updating induction workbooks and role essential training requirements (this list is not exhaustive).
Provision of training where appropriate
Reporting as required by the Exemplar Way Roadmap and Steering Committee, in addition to scheduled and ad hoc reports as required by the business or the programme.

About you

You’ll also have:

SME knowledge of LEAN methodology and/or implementation and central function processes
Experience of using and implementing LEAN processes or standard work in a care delivery setting
Experience of providing systems training to end users in a distributed workforce
Experience of providing ongoing user support on systems including IT
Excellent command of MS applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
