Summary

We seek to appoint a permanent Site Supervisor (L1) for 37 hours per week on a full year basis to join our team at George Pindar School.

George Pindar School is an 11-16 secondary situated in Scarborough. We are a community school where our colleagues are #proudtobepindar and we are looking positively to the future. We work together as #TeamPindar to develop our PINDAR values and are well supported by colleagues across the Hope Sentamu Learning Trust to improve in all aspects of our school.

This role is provide high quality effective caretaking services to ensure a secure, safe and hygienic environment for all building users and may supervise cleaning staff, ensuring high standards of cleanliness within the school. The Site Supervisor and Cleaning Team as a whole are responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and maintenance of equipment and buildings throughout the school. The postholder is required to work with tools, cleaning equipment and products which contain chemicals, but the necessary protective clothing will be provided. Also required to work outdoors in all weathers to ensure the school premises is safe.
