Summary

**Job Title:** Peer Digital Inclusion Coach (LinkLiving Self Help Services)

- **Term:** Fixed Term for 1 year (due to funding)
- **Location:** Kirkcaldy office, LinkLiving
- **Hours:** 20 per week (over 3 days, Monday to Friday, days to be agreed)

**The Service:**

Our service aims to empower individuals with mental health challenges to access online digital therapies, expanding their support network and life skills. Peer Digital Inclusion Coaches will assist individuals in identifying barriers, developing digital competencies, and accessing services to combat isolation and enhance wellbeing.

**The Job:**

Peer Digital Inclusion Coaches will leverage personal experiences with mental health management or caregiving, alongside basic IT proficiency, to support individuals with mild to moderate mental health issues. Through tailored one-on-one sessions, they will facilitate understanding and utilization of digital therapies, empowering individuals to achieve health goals and navigate online resources confidently. Additionally, they'll organize peer digital support groups to foster skill development and community connections.

Collaborating with the Service Manager and partners, Peer Digital Inclusion Coaches will contribute to learning communities, sharing best practices and enhancing digital therapy accessibility for clients. They'll also engage in project evaluation with NHS colleagues to inform future digital therapy initiatives.

**About You:**

- Education: SCQF Level 7 or equivalent, or relevant experience
- Experience: Lived experience with mental health, coupled with digital proficiency
- Skills: Strong communication, empathy, data collection, crisis management
- Qualifications: Car driver with access to a vehicle
- Traits: Proactive, calm, adaptable, reliable
