Summary
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Lancashire to assist with the appointment of a Mailroom Driver, on a 4-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £11.44 - £14.11 per hour
Responsibilities:
To deliver, collect and sort internal and external mail as directed by the Mailroom Supervisor.
To facilitate small internal removals on request as stated in the University Removals Procedure and as directed by the Mailroom Supervisor.
To drive all University Fleet vehicles as directed by the Mailroom Supervisor, including Hospital and Library sites off central campus and reprographics deliveries.
To operate the Mailroom fork lift truck
To wear uniform as provided and be of smart appearance at all times
To attend training as required in accordance with the duties of the post
Qualification:
Driving licence ( with no more than 3 penalty points and no unspent record of disqualification)
Required Experience:
Experience of a mailroom , delivery or stores environment
Experience of record keeping
Experience of organising or scheduling work
Experience of dealing with customers
Experience of providing good customer service
Please note:
You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
You should have right to work in U.K
