Summary


A rare and exciting opportunity has a arisen for a band 5 staff nurse to join our highly supportive nursing team at Hayward House Palliative day therapy ,preferably with experience of working in a palliative setting.

We offer a very supportive teamwork structure and an opportunity to further your leadership and management skills.

We are looking for a dedicated, patient focused Staff Nurse, who is committed to providing the highest standards of nursing care for our patient’s.

You will work closely with all members of the nursing team including complementary therapy, emotional support and members of the MDT

Hayward House offers specialist palliative care from diagnosis, through the interim periods of advancing disease, up to and including end of life care. Patients are cared for holistically, with a focus on symptom management and care for emotional, spiritual and social concerns being addressed for both patients and their family. You will be provided with the opportunity to work closely with the wider multidisciplinary team to provide a wide variety of support for our patients and their families.

Hayward House Day Therapy is in the grounds of the City Campus of Nottingham University Hospital NHS Trust. It provides high quality care centred on the needs of patients and their families. Its aim is to enrich the quality of life through the skills of an experienced and caring team.
