Summary

As a Case Worker within our Contact, Assessment and Resolution Team (CART) contact centre, you’ll be part of a supportive and friendly team working with other social/health care professionals managing incoming enquiries by telephone, online forms and webchat. Your strong, compassionate communication skills will be essential as you assess residents’ needs and provide them with support and guidance to maximise their wellbeing. Using strengths-based practice, you'll focus on what a person can do, whilst finding innovative, alternative community resources to meet their needs.

Your proven track record in administration and strong organisational skills will enable you to manage competing demands. You’ll also need excellent IT skills and embrace full use of digital technology to effectively support your work.

Our experienced Case Workers can be considered for our Occupational Therapy apprenticeship scheme, which is currently run by UWE Bristol, or our Social Work apprenticeship scheme, which is currently run by the University of Winchester, leading to a career as a qualified Occupational Therapist or Social Worker.
