Our Front of House Manager plays a key role in making all our guests welcome and deliver service with a smile, however busy it might be! The Front of House Manager works in a changing shift pattern (which may include night shifts at times) which can be demanding but also give a committed and driven team member the chance to show off their skills and strive for a career progression.

Transportation is provided between the Hotel and Aviemore Train Station for shifts (Subject to position)

As Front of House Manager, you will:
• Recruit, train, motivate and develop all Front Office Staff, maximising guest satisfaction.
• Ensure effective room rate management to maximize occupancy and maintain or improve room yield.
• Ensure that all front office operational and control procedures are maintained effectively.
• Ensure all staff maintain a courteous and helpful approach to customers always.
• Identify sales opportunities and create a sales-driven team of professionals.
• Ensure that all customer comments and complaints are acted upon with all due diligence.
• Have a thorough knowledge of all systems and procedures used within the department and the hotel, and you must also provide help and support as required.
• You will cover as Duty Manager whilst on shift, and prior knowledge of Reslynx is an advantage, as well as having worked with Opera Cloud.
The successful candidate will have experience in running the Front Office in a hotel holding 150 bedrooms or more. A passion to serve guests with the ability to make every guest feel special, as well as being open and outgoing to interact with a wide variety of people, guests, and colleagues alike, is a must. Our ideal team member is enthusiastic about the vital role they play, and they will always have the guest at the heart of everything they do. Most important is the right attitude to embrace a role in hospitality which can be challenging and rewarding at the same time and requires energy and care, to always do one's best.
This vacancy is available full-time, with the option of part-time.
