Summary
We are pleased to announce we have an exciting opportunity here at Potens for Support Worker – Females only due to service needs.
Drivers preferred.
We are looking for a Female support worker for our modern, bright and well-equipped working environment based in Borrowash, just outside Derby.
At Paxton House we support people with a range of needs including learning disabilities, behaviours that are perceived to be challenging, non-verbal communication and/or autistic spectrum disorders.

What you’ll be doing:
• Promoting independence with the people we support with all aspects of personal care, cooking, cleaning, key working and general life skills.
• In house activities - baking, art/crafts, board games, sensory activities, reading etc.
• Outdoor activities – Walking, pubs, lunch out, keeping in touch with families, swimming, days out, shopping etc
• Shifts will include hours between 7am-9pm, sleep ins and some waking night shifts. Weekend working will be required on a rotating basis - flexibility is needed.
