A Mainstream Secondary School in the Lewisham area is looking for an Art Teacher to teach lessons to KS3 and KS4. This position is with an immediate start.
The role will be on a full time basis but part time hours could be considered if preferred. The post is initially on a term by term basis, with the potential of leading to a permanent contract for the right teacher.
The Head Teacher is looking for someone with a positive attitude to teaching, an enthusiastic and dynamic approach in the classroom and someone who has high expectations of learning. In return, the Teacher will have the opportunity to work with a fantastic team in a welcoming environment. Newly Qualified Teachers are also encouraged to apply.
Applicants Need to Have :
• QTS with an Art & Design specialism
• Experience teaching Art & Design up to at least KS4
• Strong classroom management
• A real desire to make a positive difference to the pupils that you work with
