Summary

We are seeking a positive, enthusiastic, and conscientious Educator to join our nursery team. The candidate will be expected to work minimum of 30 or 40 hours per week, 50 weeks of the year and must hold a Level 3 Qualification in Childhood Education. As an Educator you will be an integral part of the team assisting the Early Years Teacher by providing an efficient, effective, and qualitative support service for our 30-48 months.
Purpose:
• Provide high standard of care for children in the nursery
• Safeguard children and promote their welfare
• Support team members to create a conducive environment for children to play, learn, and develop

Duties:
• Plan activities based on children's needs
• Maintain records of children's development
• Follow safeguarding procedures
• Support staff and engage in team
• Communicate with parents and family members
• Assist in various tasks within the nursery
• Uphold nursery philosophy
• Adhere to policies and procedures
• Ensure child safety and confidentiality
Childcare tasks:
• Plan activities according to each child's development
• Establish role as a key person
• Make mealtimes enjoyable
• Assist with washing and changing children
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards
• Comfort ill children and notify management
• Build strong partnerships with parents
• Provide high-quality environments for all children
• Always uphold nursery standards
