Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced butcher to join our team at AL KHALID HALAL MEAT LTD. As a butcher, you will be responsible for the preparation, cutting, and packaging of various meat products. Your attention to detail, knowledge of different cuts of meat, and commitment to food safety standards will be essential in ensuring the quality of our products and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Cut, trim, and prepare various cuts of meat according to customer specifications
- Package and label meat products for display and sale
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and equipment
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Provide friendly and helpful customer service, including answering questions and making recommendations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a butcher or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of different cuts of meat and meat processing techniques
- Excellent knife skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
