Summary

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as the Service Delivery Manager at one of our Government Defence contracts which delivers catering, retail, and leisure facilities to the Armed Forces. As a key member of our organisation, you will play a pivotal role in delivering excellence in our services while representing our company values.

Your Role as the Service Delivery Manager

As the Service Delivery Manager, you'll prioritize fostering strong relationships with clients, customers, and colleagues by ensuring exceptional guest services. You'll collaborate with unit managers to coordinate service activities, handle cash takings, reconcile collections, and investigate discrepancies. Banking, accounting, and inventory management are key duties, along with placing supply orders and conducting stocktaking. Safety is a priority, and you'll lead safety initiatives, conduct training, and ensure compliance with health and safety protocols.

Maintaining cleanliness, hygiene standards, and professional work areas is essential. Resource management, including equipment, materials, and labour, falls under your purview. You'll promptly report incidents, manage faulty equipment, and monitor service partner performance. Confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations are integral. Adhering to service level agreements and contractual terms, you'll strive to enhance service quality, meet client expectations, and optimize budgetary control. You'll oversee service partner operations, support administrative functions, assist visitors, and fulfil other directives as needed. Overall, your role encompasses a wide range of tasks aimed at delivering exceptional service while upholding standards and meeting business objectives.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate would possess the following:

Essential:

  • Management experience in soft FM service industry.
  • People management skills, including HR functions.
  • Strong numerical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of health & safety and food safety.
  • Ability to make independent decisions and work within a team.
  • Attention to detail and adherence to standards.
  • Analytical problem-solving and innovation implementation.

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with Kronos and UDC Payroll.
  • Health and Safety qualification (IOSH managing safely).
  • Food safety qualification (CIEH level 3).
