Mobile Caretaker

We have an opportunity for two Mobile Caretakers to join our Estate Services team, based in Stoke-on-Trent covering 25 Schemes in the Stoke and Staffordshire area. As a Mobile Caretaker you will be responsible for maintaining communal areas of our sheltered, supported living and general needs properties. The role of Mobile Caretaker will involve lone working and you will have a company van for business use only.

The role of Mobile Caretaker will include:

- Undertaking general caretaking and cleaning duties including replacement of light bulbs, cleaning communal areas such as stairs, doors and windows, communal lounge and rest room areas, moving bulk waste.
- Grounds maintenance tasks when required to include lawn mowing, hedge trimming and general upkeep
- Working with customers to identify faults, resolving issues and improving services
- Completing all documents and paperwork concerning tasks completed
- Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained in a suitable condition


Skills and experiences:

- Experience in a similar role or completing similar tasks
- Some experience of working to deadlines and prioritising work loads
- Working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
- Practical experience in operating hand tools and light machinery
- Good communication and customer care skills
- This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
