We have available a 10 PA consultant gastroenterology post at Barts Health, Royal London Hospital. This will be based mainly at Royal London Hospital with some endoscopy activity at Mile End Hospital and Barts Hospital.

We are looking for a dynamic, creative, and motivated Consultant to join our team of gastroenterology and hepatology consultants and HPB endoscopists.

This is a new post to join the existing gastroenterology service with a specific remit to further develop the ERCP/EUS and HPB Medicine service in Barts Health and across the NEL region. This post is to provide additional capacity for our expanding HPB service.

We welcome applications from established consultants and senior trainees who will be within six months of completion of specialist training at the time of the Advisory Appointments Committee.

Applicants must have completed specialist training in gastroenterology and have entered on the GMC Specialist Register prior to taking up the appointment.

As with all gastroenterology consultants in the Royal London Hospital, the job plan includes some weekend working.

The post holders will work alongside the established gastroenterology consultants to support provision of outpatient services.
