Summary

Quantity Surveyor - Medway

Are you ready for an exciting opportunity in the civil industry. The client is looking for someone with power/energy experience.

Experience working on civil projects for power stations. As a quantity surveyor you will be overseeing the resources and project teams on project, help maximise the cash flow and margin, assessing, reviewing and mitigating risks.

Day Rate (CIRCA) - GBP350.00 - GBP400.00

Start Date - Mid May

Duration - Ongoing

Location - Medway

Responsibilities will include:

- Managing all aspects of the contractual side to the project

- Carrying out cost analysis

- Monitoring cost variations and writing reports

- Allocating work to subcontractors and making payments

- Ensuring the project does not exceed the budget

- Office based with occasional site visits

Requirements:

- Diploma or Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying

- Knowledge of NEC Contracts

- Experience from a civil background with surfacing

- CSCS ideally

- Experience in a similar role

- Excellent numeracy, understanding forecast management, and supplementary financial reports and final accounts

- Intermediate user of Excel and good use of other Microsoft packages

- UK Driving Licence
