Due to the growth and development of the school, Ty Gwyn School are looking to appoint a number of motivated and caring Mid-day supervisors with a passion for working with pupils with additional learning need.
Ty Gwyn supports pupils aged 3-19 with autism and /or profound and complex needs. The school is federated with Riverbank and Woodlands High School within the Western Learning Federation. We are proud that the school has a long history of working with other schools and partners including a role as a Pioneer and Innovation school for work on the new curriculum and professional learning.
We pride ourselves on our positive, inclusive and welcoming ethos which has been recognised by Investors in People who has awarded us the highest achieving platinum award. Successful candidates will benefit from relevant training and a high quality personalised professional learning offer which is further enhanced by the professional learning offer across the Western Learning Federation.

This salary is subject to the Living Wage supplement which brings pay rates up to £12 per hour (scp 2 - 4). This supplement will be reviewed in January 2024 and thereafter annually in April. Cardiff Council reserves the right to make any changes to, or removal of, the Living Wage supplement.
