Children’s Supervisor Salary Scale 1, point 1
7.5 hours a week (1 ½ hours per day; 11.50-1.20) Monday-Friday
Contract: Part time and Term time only
Elmley Castle CE First School is delightful small school with friendly children and a supportive staff team. A place to work where everyone is valued and cared about.We are seeking an enthusiastic, Lunchtime Supervisor to become part of our supportive, friendly and committed team. The post holder will assist with lunchtimes; setting up the hall, supporting children while they are eating their lunch and supervising the children at play.
We are looking for someone who;
Enjoys working with children Is polite and able to develop positive relationships with all Is able to speak to children sensitively Is able to work as part of a team listening to others, sharing ideas, being helpful to one another
Is sensible and able to use their initiative
The post will involve setting up and putting away tables and chairs, sweeping and mopping floors - so anyone applying will need to be reasonably fit and strong – and have a certain amount of stamina.
They will also need to be mindful of the specific needs of children on our SEND register or those that have medical needs. Full training will be given.
No qualifications are necessary but a Food Hygiene Certificate would be useful.
