Salary: Grade 3, Point 4 (Actual Salary £14,329 per annum)
Contract: 27.5 hours per week (08.30 hrs to 14.00 hrs), 39 weeks per yearRawlins is seeking to appoint a Catering Assistant for the preparation of Break Time service. Duties will include assisting in the preparation of meals in a busy school kitchen, assisting with food service including use of cashless catering tills, maintaining the hygiene of the kitchen and use of dishwasher or washing up. A Basic Food Hygiene qualification is essential and therefore training will be offered, if required.
There may be some optional overtime, weekend and evening work which will attract additional payment.
This is an excellent opportunity to join one of Leicestershire’s largest secondary schools, with over 1500 on roll including more than 300 in our A-Level specific Sixth Form. We are a highly inclusive school having our own Autism and a Moderate Learning Difficulties specialist unit on site alongside our school’s SEND support base. Pupils who attend these units are an integrated part of our school community.
