Summary


Are you looking to develop your skills within trauma? An opportunity has arisen within our Band 6 trauma and orthopaedic and vascular physiotherapy rotation. Substantive and fixed term opportunities may be available.

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is an Academic Health Science Centre (AHSC) and the largest trust in the country. Our mission is to provide world class healthcare for our patients, through excellence in research, education and training. It is also home to the North West London’s Major Trauma Centre.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Band 6 Physiotherapist to join our team. You will need to be able to manage a varying and complex caseload of in-patients and have experience of discharge planning. The post is rotational and involves 9 monthly rotations through a variety of areas including Major Trauma, elective Orthopaedics, trauma Orthopaedics and plastics, surgical rehabilitation, Vascular Surgery and amputee and prosthetic rehabilitation.

To provide high quality physiotherapy management to patients at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. To participate in a cross site rotational scheme, providing a high standard of physiotherapy to patients within acute rehabilitation. To perform advanced physiotherapeutic assessment of patients with diverse presentations and complex physical and psychological conditions, to develop and deliver an individualised treatment programme.
