Summary
The Recruitment Co are recruiting for a Quality Technician to join their client on a fixed term 6 month contract in Runcorn,
Our client is a manufacturing and distribution business.
This is a varied position, responsible for quality testing raw materials with additional Quality administration requirements.
Working hours:
The position is full time, Monday to Friday, offering a flexible start and finish time in line with site operating hours (39 hours per week total).
Pay rate
£11.83 per hour
Key responsibilities
- Practical experience within a food/pharma or chemical manufacturing Laboratory environment
- Knowledge of QC testing equipment and methods, (preferably including GC and GC-MS)
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Particularly Excel)
- Ability to prioritise own workload in accordance with business needs.
- Strong problem solving/mathematical skills
- High level of accuracy/attention to detail.
- Ability to act on own initiative, working alone or in a team environment
- Confidence and ability to make decisions
- Ability to work well and keep a clear focus under pressure
**To be successful, you will be able to demonstrate experience in a similar position and be a methodical worker with impeccable IT skills
