Flying High Partnership is looking to appoint a Trust appointed SENDCo. This role will form a part of our central team, working with our Inclusion Lead Practitioner and Inclusion leader. You will be deployed to a school for a fixed period, providing expertise in SEND leadership ensuring that the school is delivering the very best for every child. Deployments will be based on the needs of our partnership, expertise of the successful candidate and location of the successful candidate. The 33 primary schools that make up Flying High are located across Mansfield, Ashfield, Rushcliffe, Broxtowe, Gedling, Nottingham City and Chesterfield. This is an exciting opportunity, which gives the successful candidate the opportunity to work closely to form part of our inclusion team and be in a role that truly makes a difference to children’s lives. You will receive a comprehensive induction and will have all the support necessary to ensure you excel in the role of SENDCo.

We are looking for someone who:

An exceptional teacher
An individual determined to meet the needs of every child.
Experience as a SEND leadership. (new and experienced SENDCos welcomed)
Strong communication skills and able to form effective relationships with staff, parents, families, and other agencies.
The ability to inspire and motivate colleagues, providing the appropriate balance of challenge and support.
Has a tenacious approach, with an unshakeable determination to meet the needs of all children.
