Job Vacancy

An exciting opportunity has arisen for three Part-time Customer Care Assistants to join our care at home team on a permanent basis. In this role, you will work as part of a team to ensure customer and carer queries are efficiently responded to and resolved. Training and a comprehensive induction period will be provided with ongoing support and guidance.

Essential

Competence in literacy and numeracy, such as three Standard Grades at level 3 or above, including Mathematics and English or equivalent subjects. SVQ 2 or equivalent is an acceptable alternative.

Demonstrable knowledge of word-processing, spreadsheet, keyboard and clerical skills, such as SVQ 2 in Administration or equivalent.

Please note that it is Midlothian Councils policy that successful applicants will be appointed to the first point on the salary scale.

Based on you working 21 hours over 52 weeks per year the minimum actual salary for this position is £15,077.93 per annum.

Requirements

Compliance with the mandatory Cabinet Office PSN (Public Sector Network) Code of Connection requires the Council to meet a baseline personal security standard.
