Summary
Ambassadors Resourcing is recruiting for a wonderful, inclusive Local Authority maintained nursery school in Saltley, Birmingham. The setting is looking for an inspiring, passionate, full-time Early Years Teacher to cover a long-term absence.
Job Description
• The successful Early Years Teacher will:
• Promote the learning and development of the children in self-directed play
activities in a mainly free flow environment
• Plan a safe, secure, creative and colourful environment that promotes
children’s experiences and independent learning
• Promote open and honest partnership with parents/carers and other external
professionals to support children’s individual care and learning needs
• Successfully lead a supportive, trusting and constructive team of staff by
modelling best practice
• Understand and adhere to all the policies and procedures of the setting,
keeping up to date with current thinking, legislation changes and own
professional development
Requirements:
• The successful Early Years Teacher must have:
• A Level 6 degree in Early Years with QTS
• Successfully completed the Early Careers Teacher (ECT) induction period
• Experience of Early Years and SEND
• An enhanced DBS, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and have a
legal right to work in the country
• Acceptable references covering the last 2 years, including from a childcare &
education establishment
• Shortlisted candidates will be subject to Teacher Regulation Agency checks
and an online search as part of Ambassadors Resourcing Safer Recruitment
