Summary

An excellent opportunity has become available for a suitably qualified and experienced individual to come and join the Beyond Housing team as a Gas Team Leader.

The successful candidate will need to be qualified and experienced in gas servicing/repairs in domestic properties, be well-motivated, organised, professional, attentive to detail and be able to take the lead in managing the Gas Servicing and the Gas & Heating Repairs teams covering the East Cleveland area. The successful candidate will manage a dedicated team of in-house gas and heating engineers, supported as required by sub-contractors, who are primarily involved in installing, maintaining and servicing gas and heating appliances within our housing stock. This post will assist in leading on Gas Compliance; ensuring the organisation complies with all statutory regulations, approved codes of practice, best practice, etc.

The successful candidate will also be involved in repair and servicing programmes involving air source heat pumps, oil, LPG and solid fuel heating sources, water hygiene and legionella and will provide cover for the gas & electrical manager during periods of absence. They will assist in the preparation and administration of programmed work and liaise with all suppliers/sub-contractors to ensure that quality materials/services are available. You must have good IT skills and exceptional attention to detail whilst working under deadlines.
