Summary
About The Role
At OCS Group, we are recruiting for a Multiskilled Cleaning Operative, reporting to the Soft Services Contract Manager and to be able to operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning materials as required in accordance with Health and Safety requirements. You will be working from Wednesdays to Sundays, 10:00 to 15:00, on a permanent part-time basis; 25 hours per week. Main Duties and Responsibilities :- Undertake all aspects of general daily cleaning duties including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and toilet/ washroom facilities in public and private areas.
- Knowledge of the area, local businesses, and landmarks is a must.
- The operative will be representing Equans and Southbank Centre while on duty.
- To be able to handle situations where may be approached by members of the public for various reasons.
- Experience in cleaning internal and public areas.
- Expertise in communicating and receiving work instructions over radios and mobile phones.
- Candidates without experience in the cleaning industry are welcome.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with work colleagues and members of the public.
