Summary

About The Role

At OCS Group, we are recruiting for Landscaping Supervisor, to ensure all external and internal planting is completed as per the Client/Senior Management direction and ensure all external and internal planting is completed as per the Client/Senior Management direction. You will be working Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 15:00, on a permanent full-time basis; 40 hours per week. Main Duties and Responsibilities :
  • Ensure that you are working within all relevant COSHH, Health & Safety and Environmental legislative requirements, and procedural requirements as required by the Company and its Client(s).
  • Drive all vehicles in conjunction with the UK Road Traffic Act 1988 and Road Safety Act 2006.
  • Ensure all issued PPE is worn correctly by the Landscapers at all times, any issues with PPE reported immediately to your line manager.
  • Supervise the Landscapers' grass-cutting of general areas, central reservations, and formal mowing in high-profile areas.
  • Ensure The Landscapers recycle all the "green waste" and place it into the skip at every visit. Report fly-tipping immediately.
  • Ensure the Landscapers follow the task sheets appertaining to each PPM Zoned job/patrol.
  • Report defects/reactive jobs that could lead to an accident occurring.
  • Use two-way radio equipment for communicating within the Control Room or site team.
  • Assist with on-site Beekeeping Duties.
  • Supervise the Landscapers' hedge trimming up to 3 feet, especially around the car parks, borders and beds use of MEWP for high-level hedge cutting.
Qualifications and Experience:

  • Hard Working and Good Time Keeper
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Weed spraying Licence PA1 & PA6W
  • Tractor Licence
  • IPAF and Spraying License
  • First Aid
