Summary
To lead, manage and co-ordinate the Community Therapy Service and be professionally accountable for the delivery of patient care, by therapists within the defined team and be responsible for supervision and quality of their work. To work with the Care Community Service Manager in the line management responsibility for both human and financial resources of the Community Therapy Team. To be responsible for implementing and monitoring adherence to agreed policies, protocols and clinical standards, ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of high- quality service provision within the bounds of clinical governance. To take a lead role in focussing team resources to meet the objectives outlined in the Service Specification and identified health needs within the community. You will act as a lead for patients with complex neurological health needs, support the delivery of expert clinical care and provide clinical leadership to all team members within sphere of responsibility. You will also be expected to work alongside other clinical specialists within CCICP therapy teams, be responsible for service development initiatives, for positive leadership within the team and continuing to build and develop services. You will also be expected to participate in the current urgent community response weekend rota on a pro rata basis.
