Summary


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 2 Clinical Effectiveness Assistant. This would provide an opportunity to support a broad Clinical Effectiveness agenda including; Policy development, Clinical Audit programme, Oversight of application of national clinical guidance and quality standards.

The role will provide support to a central governance team and work alongside colleagues across the Trust. Whilst being a essential resource to delivery of the service, this post also provides a developmental opportunity for a wide range of Clinical Effectiveness application's.

The role will involve:
• Development and tracking of the Clinical Audit programme and escalation of delays to the Clinical Effectiveness Specialist.
• Accessing Clinical Benchmarking data and supporting presentation of this data alongside the Clinical Effectiveness Specialist.
• Maintaining a tracker of regulatory enquiries and sources of assurance.
• Review of national guidance and liaison with clinical colleagues to support gap analysis.
• Coordination of Mortality Reviews.
• Managing a schedule of quality observational visits.
