Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Patient Safety and Experience directorate at Bolton NHS Foundation Trust to recruit to the role of Administrative Assistant within the Tissue Viability Team. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated individual with experience working in an administration role.
The role is a full time position based at The Royal Bolton Hospital.
The role involves undertaking all administration duties, including secretarial responsibilities, such as letter writing, document creation and use of Microsoft packages. You must therefore be proficient in word processing/ typing and be familiar with medical terminology. In addition, there will be a focus on supporting the Harm Free Care process, which will require a close working relationship with Governance and the ability to use the Safeguard System.
The post includes working with other healthcare professionals, organisations and dealing with patients and carers/relatives, particularly over the telephone. You must therefore possess good communication skills and have experience of working with members of the public.
Assist in the delivery of administrative support within the Tissue Viability and corporate nursing/AHP team.
To provide assistance with the arranging of meetings. Provide minute taking and cover at meetings including preparation and circulation of relevant documentation.
To work jointly with the other admin and clerical staff to maintain clerical and administrative processes within the department.To assist with the organisation and management of relevant digital / information systems.
To assist with distribution and maintenance of mandatory/statutory training reports.
To assist with the booking of meeting rooms, to ensure robust clerical systems are maintained, to demonstrate effective office skills and to provide clerical support to team.
