Pay rate: £90 - £100 Per Day

We are seeking enthusiastic SEND/SEMH Learning Support Assistant’s (LSAs/TAs) within Waltham Forest.

Do you want to make a positive impact on the education and lives of SEND/SEMH pupils and their families?

Are you dedicated and have a passion for support children with Special Educational Needs?

All applicants must have a confident, enthusiastic, and passionate approach to supporting and working with students. We are looking for kind, caring and creative characters with the ability to provide stimulating environments of learning within the Special Educational Needs Sector.

As a SEND LSA, you will need to have confidence within the classroom and be able to adapt to different environments and adapt to the teaching strategies of different class teachers.

Must have:

-Minimum of 6 months experience working with children and young adults with Special Educational Needs.

-An understanding of various learning needs.

-Excellent communication skills

-Ability to work collaboratively with staff and parents.

-Commitment to inclusivity and a welcoming ethos.

The role will include:

-Supporting teaching and learning within SEND/SEMH settings.

-Using your experience within the sector to provide exceptional support for the child/children.

-Implementing specific activities which support the successful development of a SEND child.

This role can include working with children and young adults throughout all Key Stages.

-Provide 1 to 1 support for children.
