Are you dedicated and have a passion for teaching children with Special Educational Needs?

We are seeking enthusiastic and passionate SEND/SEMH Teachers within Haringey.

All applicants must have a confident, enthusiastic, and passionate approach to teaching and working with students. We are looking for kind, caring and creative characters with the ability to provide stimulating environments of learning within the Special Educational Needs Sector as well as in depth understanding of different SEND and SEMH conditions.

As a SEND/SEMH Teacher, you will need to have confidence within the classroom and be able to adapt to different environments, abilities, and school strategies.

Must have:

- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

-An in depth understanding of various learning and physical needs.

-Excellent communication skills

-Ability to work collaboratively with other staff and parents.

-Commitment to inclusivity and a welcoming ethos.

The role will include:

-Using your experience within the sector to provide exceptional teaching for the child/children.

-Implementing specific activities which support the successful development of a SEND child.

-Efficient and thorough planning skills.

-Supporting your support staff.

This role can include working with children and young adults throughout all Key Stages.
