Summary

Are you looking for a career in education where you can positively impact the lives of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities? Or perhaps you are ready for your next role in education. This Behaviour Mentor position starts as soon as you are available and promises to be challenging but hugely rewarding.

Behaviour Mentors will work across various age groups within a sought-after SEN setting and working hours are 8:30-15:30 Monday to Friday, Term Time only.

What the role involves:

· Supporting the class teacher with the delivery of a bespoke curriculum

· Working in partnership with parents, teachers, and the school, to establish a supportive and nurturing learning environment in which children make excellent progress

· Helping pupils develop independent learning and life skills, manage their own task list, and prioritise their time

· Become a positive role model and mentor to the learners you support

· Attend outdoor education and Forest School sessions, and encourage community engagement
