Summary
Children and young people with special educational needs, need your help. Every day, children are becoming increasingly more independent, outgoing and confident with their learning, because of the support they receive from dedicated and compassionate individuals like you.
Taking the time to understand their needs and work with them to help them achieve their goals, means that you go home at the end of the day feeling satisfied and full of respect for the children in your care, and admiring of the milestones they have managed to achieve.
If this sounds like something you want to be part of, then you could consider a career supporting children and young people with special educational needs such as autism, mental health, behavioural challenges, and other life-affecting factors.
Every day is different, every child is different, every school is different, and your unique ability to drive through the barriers to engage with the children and young people, makes you a perfect candidate to support the future generation.
Full support, induction and training is provided, plus the option to undertake career enhancing qualifications and climb the career ladder if you feel it's right for you. Most education-based opportunities are term-time only, so can fit around your own childcare restrictions if required. Hours tend to be 8.30am - 3.30/4pm, and part-time is also available.
