Summary
Purpose of the Job:
Working on varied cleaning tasks across the portfolio. As a mobile Domestic cleaner, you will enjoy the challenge of working in different locations, in a variety of settings. Your main aim will be to carry out a range of cleaning activities including vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, dusting, emptying bins and cleaning wash rooms, kitchens and other communal areas.
You will also be required to clean empty (void) rooms to support the re-letting process.
You will need to have a positive can-do attitude, take pride in everything you do, have a naturally caring nature, and want to work with a team that has an ethos of a “one team approach”.
Key Responsibilities:
• You will be involved in daily scheduled cleaning (and deep cleaning duties when required), maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness in all communal areas including; offices, hallways, stairs, bathrooms and kitchens of each property
• You will ensure that areas are cleaned to the highest standards at all times. You must be able to coordinate your working day and be able to work to deadlines to get the jobs done. You are expected to be meticulous and thorough in all areas of work.
• You will be required to work within the Health and Safety policy and procedures at all times. Maintaining the safety of customers, colleagues and other visitors to the property.
• You will ensure all equipment is cleaned, maintained and stored correctly, including COSHH chemicals and data sheets.
• Cleaning experience is preferred but training will be provided if necessary.
• DBS checks are required for roles where you will be working with or have lone contact with Vulnerable Adults.
Desirable
Good level of literacy, numeracy and I.T skills.
Experience of working with and supporting vulnerable people.
Experience of working with those with addiction and/or poor mental health.
Mobility
Must hold a full UK driving licence.
Able to travel independently and effectively to cover 28 properties across Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole and Weymouth.
Have access to own vehicle for business use. Mileage will be paid at 45p per mile carparking charges will also be covered. Desired.
There will also be a company vehicle available which will be shared with another colleague.
