About the roleWe are seeking to recruit a Geography teacher to teach on a part-time basis.
You will join a small and enthusiastic geography team that forms part of the wider science team. The vast majority of teaching is A level and the courses are established with a good range of resources to support your teaching. We work closely with Cranedale field studies centre to support the fieldwork element of the course.
Geography is a popular subject with many of our students progressing to university to study geography or related subjects. Our students are equally enthusiastic about their subject and if you visit us you will find attentive, motivated and well behaved students who wish to do well in their studies.
We welcome applications from experienced teachers as well as those about to qualify.
The role is fixed-term from September 2024 for up to 1 year to cover a period of maternity leave.
About the Person We are looking for someone who is passionate about Geography to teach our enthusiastic Geography students. Ideally you will be an experienced A level geography teacher, but this is not essential.
