Summary
CoMac Machinery, based in Dovercourt Essex, specialises in building bespoke adhesive/pressure sensitive/reactive/thermal setting/UV/RF laminating machines; we are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our small team.
The requisites of the role include:
- Having the knowledge and ability to interpret wiring schematics and layout of electrical panel diagrams
- The capacity to undertake wire/cable termination, PLC wiring and electrical assembly
- Solving any electrical system issues; be creative in producing new design technology
- PAT Testing and recording of electrical equipment for the Company
- A level of mechanical engineering knowledge
- Holding relevant qualifications in this field (eg. 16/17th Edition Wiring Regulations)
- Adherence to all aspects of Health & Safety with the commitment to undertaking any training relevant to the role
- The ability to work as part of a team and on an individual basis with the minimum amount of supervision
Hours of work consist of Monday – Thursday 8.00 AM – 5.00 PM, Friday working may be required to meet the needs of the business; part time working will be considered. Occasional travel to support the installation of a new machine/ongoing servicing.
Salary is dependent on experience.
