About the Company:
Our client is embarking on an exciting journey, seeking a skilled and dedicated Land Surveyors & Setting Out Engineer to join their team. With projects spanning the UK, they are expanding due to increased contracts, particularly in the North West. Join them in bringing these projects to life!
The Ideal Candidate:
Are you an experienced Setting Out Engineer with a passion for civil engineering? We're looking for candidates with the following skills and attributes:

  • Civil Engineering Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience in setting out and surveying within the civil engineering industry.
  • Blueprint Comprehension: Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
  • Survey Software Proficiency: Ideally proficient with survey software, particularly LSS.
  • AutoCAD LT: Strong understanding of AutoCAD LT.
  • As-Built Drawings: Capability to produce accurate as-built drawings.
  • Surveying Equipment: Proficiency with total stations, GPS kits, and Dumpy Levels.
  • Earthworks Expertise: Experience in setting out profile boards and batter rails for earthworks projects.
  • Quality Assurance: Strong grasp of site QA paperwork.


Candidate Requirements:
To be eligible for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Driving License: Full UK driving license required.
  • IT Literacy: Crucial in this tech-driven industry.
  • Education: Strong educational background, ideally HNC/HND in a construction-related field or equivalent qualifications.
