Summary
We are looking for a patient, understanding, and reliable person who is committed to making a positive impact in a child's life.
My son is a wonderful 8 year old with autism.
He is in need of a dedicated personal assistant who can help him explore the world and engage in various activities.
He is non-verbal, has limited understanding, and requires constant 1:1 support.
His interests include outdoor adventures, soft play, swimming, and indoor creative activities such as colouring, painting, playdough, and puzzles.
We would like you to be able to take him to your home to provide respite to us and if you are local to Burgess Hill we would be willing to drop him to you if needed.
Other Requirements
• Non-smoker preferred or someone who is willing to refrain from smoking during work hours.
• Must have a UK driving licence

Typical duties
Domestic -
Support and encouragement to eat
Personal Care:
Support with toileting. Uses pull ups
Social:
Supporting with full supervision to go to park or town, soft play, swimming
Engaging him in activities inside such as colouring, painting, play dough, puzzles – constant supervision is required

Previous experience is preferred due to the support required
