Summary

You have a unique opportunity to be part of a passionate, professional, and dedicated team that is focused on creating a positive journey for all patients seen within our service.

The work is fast-paced and challenging but very rewarding. Your experienced colleagues will provide you with a robust training program that will help you build the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to become a successful Patient Pathway Coordinator.

We believe that work should be a great place for everyone, and we will support your continuing personal development with regular one-on-one meetings and an annual appraisal, ensuring you are guided to all available training courses and support.

We offer a range of exciting benefits, including health and wellbeing initiatives, annual leave, flexible working options, and much more.

You will be the main point of contact for patients throughout their pathway of care. The post holder will work under the direction of their Senior Patient Pathway Coordinator and will provide expertise in the proactive management of the patient pathway from referral to discharge, ensuring the entire pathway is managed smoothly and in a timely manner. The post holder will provide a range of administrative support services to the specialty Consultant Team, but, most importantly, you will need to bring with you passion, enthusiasm, and a desire to dive right in!

You will have a significant degree of autonomy, and as a result, you'll need to be comfortable working independently and taking accountability for your own workload.

It is imperative that the successful candidate can always maintain complete confidentiality on all people-related matters.

From Day 1, you'll be communicating with individuals both internally and externally at all levels; you will need to do so with confidence and integrity while embodying our culture and our care values.

You will also be adept at building relationships and quickly gaining the trust and respect of employees within the team and across the Trust.

In return for all of the above, we can offer you what is simply, without a doubt, one of the best places you could ever imagine working, filled with dynamic people just like you who are on a mission to make a difference and deliver something truly amazing.

Thank you for your interest in this role.

Sherwood is nationally recognised as being an excellent place to work and deliver care. We are rightly proud of the 5,500 colleagues who work here, and we are the Health Service Journal’s Trust of the Year in 2020.

Happy colleagues deliver better care. Our teams work in a supportive, inclusive environment, which nurtures wellbeing and has opportunities for development and progression. We do not just care for our patients; we also care for you.

Our culture of learning, compassion and taking a person-centred approach are at the roots of our organisation. We would love you to join us.
