TeacherActive is proud to be working with a Nursery based in Torbay with their search for a qualified Nursery Practitioner. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a cosy and welcoming Nursery with like-minded practitioners to provide the best possible early start for young children. They focus on a child centred approach to learning and prioritise the well-being of their children. It’s a busy and thriving environment with lots of opportunities to plan stimulating activities and to create a fun and positive atmosphere.
The nursery is looking to employ a qualified Nursery Practitioner, on a long-term basis with the opportunity to be offered a permanent position. You will report directly to the Nursery Manager and could be required to work across different ages groups within the nursery. In a time of growth for this Nursery, career progression opportunities are also available for the right person.
An excellent level of communication is required along with an in depth and up-to-date knowledge of Safeguarding, prevent and the EYFS. There is lot’s of opportunities to build relationships with staff, children and parents and we’re searching for a compassionate and reliable individual to fill this exciting role.
The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:
· Level 3 NVQ or equivalent (Required)
· Experience with the Early Years Foundation Studies (EYFS) curriculum
· ‘Can-do’ approach with the willingness to get stuck in
· Reliability and a compassionate, nurturing nature
