Job Title: Female Support worker

Based at: Long Melford, CO10
Job Purpose
I am looking for a female support worker to support me for 6 hours per week. I live at home with my mum, her partner and our dog. I have been diagnosed with Ehlers Danlos syndrome and chronic fatigue syndrome and I am a wheelchair user. I love reading and listening to podcasts and I am looking for a support worker to support me for 6 hours a week at my home in Long Melford. I have a love for literature and languages and my favourite music artist is Lana Del Ray, to find a support worker who has similar interests would be a great advantage.
Social Support – You will need to provide social support to the young girl and participate in her chosen activities with her in her own home.
Perform any duties that are of a reasonable request.
Person Specification:
Be patient and supportive.
Be friendly and outgoing.
Be honest, reliable, and trustworthy.
Be respectful of the employer’s dignity, at all times.
Understand the need for privacy and confidentiality.
You should have a thorough understanding of personal safety.
Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
A willingness to undergo any training highlighted by the employer.
