An exciting opportunity awaits a passionate and dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse who is seeking career advancement. Our client, a specialist ophthalmology referral practice located in Cheshire, is currently seeking an exceptional individual to join their esteemed team.

No prior experience in ophthalmology? No problem! The practice highly values a positive attitude, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. A comprehensive training plan will be provided to equip the successful candidate with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the role.

As a crucial member of the team, the RVN will play an essential role in delivering gold standard patient care. Responsibilities will encompass a wide range of nursing duties, including patient admissions and discharges, perioperative medication administration, anaesthesia induction assistance, anaesthesia monitoring, surgical preparation, theatre assistance, patient recovery, and instrument care.

Prepare for an exciting and diverse caseload as the practice not only treats referred patients from primary-care veterinary practices across the North West of England and North Wales but also cares for a variety of animals off-site, including those at Chester Zoo. The Role:
• Full Time role - 40 hour week
• Monday - Friday shifts between 8am and 6.30pm
• 1:8 weekends on-call (only called in if needed by ophthalmologist)
• OOH on-call rota (generous OOH payment)
