We are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Special Needs Teaching Assistant to work alongside our experienced educators in providing exceptional support to students with diverse learning needs. Position: Special Needs Teaching Assistant

Location: Chorley, Preston PR7

Contract: Full-Time, Long-term, with permanent placement possibility

Star date: Role 1 - ASAP Start. Role 2 - September start.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with special educational needs, fostering their academic, social, and emotional development.

Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create and implement personalised learning plans tailored to each student's unique requirements.

Aid in the preparation and adaptation of teaching materials and resources to ensure accessibility for all learners.

Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued, respected, and supported.

Monitor student progress, collect data, and provide regular feedback to teachers and parents to facilitate continuous improvement.

Requirements:

Previous experience working with children with special needs is highly desirable.

A genuine passion for working with children and making a positive difference in their lives.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.

Patience, empathy, and flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of students.

Relevant qualifications in education, childcare, or special needs support are advantageous.
