Teaching Personnel is thrilled to announce an exclusive opportunity for a dedicated 1:1 SEMH Support position, tailored for a Year 6 student at a reputable school in Lytham St Annes. Starting on June 3rd, this role offers the chance to work closely with a motivated and dynamic team, fostering a nurturing environment where every child can thrive.

As a SEMH Support Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in providing personalized assistance to students, empowering them to overcome challenges and reach their full potential. Your duties will include:
- Building strong rapport and trust with the student to create a supportive relationship.
- Developing and implementing individualized support plans in collaboration with teachers and SENCO.
- Providing guidance and encouragement to promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
- Delivering tailored interventions to address specific SEMH needs, both in and out of the classroom.
- Monitoring progress and adapting strategies to ensure continuous improvement.

Requirements:

✅ Relevant experience working with children with SEMH needs.

✅ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

✅ Ability to adapt support strategies based on individual student requirements.

✅ Positive attitude and resilience in challenging situations.
