About The Role
We are proud to partner with one of the UK's largest parcel delivery companies in the UK, renowned for its commitment to excellence and innovation. As one of their trusted recruitment partners, we are currently seeking dedicated Warehouse Operatives to work with our client on a temporary basis. The role may lead to the offer of a permanent contract with our client, after a period of 12 weeks.
As a Warehouse Operative working with our esteemed client, you will have the opportunity to play a pivotal role in the operations of one of the UK's leading distribution companies. You will be an essential part of the process, ensuring the efficient movement of parcels and maintaining the highest standards of service.
All applicants must be willing to undergo a basic DBS check as part of this position, this will be funded by Unity.
Working Hours:
00:00 – 06:00, Monday to Friday
Other shift patterns may become available, please inform our recruiters of your shift preference and availability.
The role and responsibilities:

- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments of goods.
- Safely and efficiently store products in designated warehouse locations.
- Sorting and organizing parcels in line with regional postcodes ready for distribution.
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and maintain accurate records.
- Adhere to health and safety protocols and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve day targets and deadlines.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

- Previous experience as a Warehouse Operative or in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift and carry heavy objects up to 23kg.
